About Us
Where we came from
Ocean-Tec Systems were established in 2006 offering Offshore Survey Consultancy and Client Representation to the Offshore Construction and Cable Installation markets.
Since then Ocean-Tec personnel have been working on projects in Angola, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Namibia, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain and UK.
The projects covered range from pre-installation works for Oil & Gas Jackets through to document reviews on behalf of local authorities for renewable cable installations. Within this swathe of projects we have also supplied onshore support to installation sectors and oil & Gas contract/admin support to O&M sectors.
During 2007 Ocean-Tec were appointed as the authorised agents for the Makai suite of cable planning and installation software. Ocean-Tec are able to offer their clients route engineering services utilising in house Makai certified route engineers.
Ocean-Tec also have their own Makai trainers who, in conjunction with Makai in Hawaii, conduct training courses in the UK, resulting ion certification issued by Makai in Hawaii. You can find out more about our Makai services, and Makai in general by clicking here
Our management consultancy team has a wide and varied range of experience ranging from making molds for Lego bricks through IT and Legal support, and pretty much everything in between.
Our aim is to offer services which support our clients, we have no interest in ‘placing’ personnel just for commission, if we believe we cannot help, we will tell you, and try and help you find someone who can.
